Here on the east coast Halloween activities may require scuba gear. So I thought I’d whip up a few more word searches for everyone!

The last Halloween Word Search I made was pretty tough (it took me forever to find the word Werewolf!) so I made an easier one:

Free Halloween Word Find

And another hard one:

Free Halloween Word find

Feel free to download the Easy Halloween Wordfind and the Halloween Costume Wordfind from Google docs and print as many copies as you like.

The PDFs do not have watermarks and are set to print on regular printer paper.

Please DO NOT sell this file, I make them available for free so everyone can enjoy them!

I’d love some feedback on the word searches! Do you love them? Hate them? Would you like them easier/harder? Would you like a key with all the answers? Any ideas for new ones?

We had some friends over last night for a last minute Halloween/Birthday Party (my husbands birthday is Monday, he’ll be 33!). We threw together a pretty decent spread, but my camera went MIA so sadly no pictures of the set up. We served chilli (some of it was baked in pie pumpkins), corn bread and sausage bread.

I bought a pack of orange paper cups and a pack of googly eyes at the store and along with a hot glue gun and a sharpie I made these fun little guys:

Cute right? It took less than 20 minutes to do them all, there was a cyclops but that one went missing. After I ran out of cups I realized I hadn’t done a kitty, always next time right?

This is also great for smaller kids who might not recognize their names but will remember whether they had the pirate or spider cup.

You could also personalize them to match each child’s costume!

Have you linked up to the Halloween Party yet?! And don’t forget the giveaway!

Today is my  fluffy little puppies first birthday!

He went from being the size, shape and relative weight of a single brick to about 90 lbs of HAPPY

When he isn’t bringing his toys to the bunny, trying to play with the cat or letting Bentley ‘pet’ him; he enjoys cuddle time.

We had to buy a king sized bed to fit him and the cat (oh, and we sleep in the bed too).

I’ve been busy ripping my house apart. As usual I can’t focus on just one thing. Sadly my Halloween decorations aren’t permeating every room in the house yet.

I did get one of my book cases a bit spook-ified. I painted the sign, it’s a strange mix of reds with white free handed text. By the way, Hocus Pocus is THE best Halloween movie EVER. The metal roosters were replaced with the Embroidered Spiderwebs.

The warty pumpkin is one we kept from the wedding, the bloody flowers and hot glue spiderwebs you might recognize (hint hint). My favorite part is the witch hat (the sign is a close second!). I’ve made several witch hats and this is my favorite, it’s purple crushed velvet with black glitter dot on the bottom of the brim. It’s tucked and tacked into a crooked shape, I might wear it this Halloween if I don’t get a costume together. I’ve had the fake head forever. It’s styrafoam that I hot-glued twine all over. My fingers were burnt for a week but it looks 100 better.

Are you ready to entertain the Little Ones? That’s right today is all about the kids with fake fangs, green face paint and sheets over their heads! (Factoid: I was almost always a witch when I was growing up, I have curly hair and my mom would brush it out so it was super frizzy and give me a black dress)I’ll be linking up my Halloween Word Search

Head over to All Done Monkey! To check out the fun and link it up!

Don’t forget the Halloween Party (hosted here!) is still going strong (I’d love to make it over 50 links, hint hint) and you can get your fall food fix at Jen’s Favorite Cookies!
