All you need for these bows is a 3×3.5 burlap square, a scrap of fabric and a hot glue gun. A few clothes pins will make some steps a bit easier.
Fray the edges by pulling on loose strings. Fold the burlap and crease with your fingers, hotdog and hamburger style. Fire up the old glue gun, make a scant 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch hot glue square just to the side of the fold. When you fold it be careful not to burn yourself, glue oozes out from everywhere.
Keep folding and gluing accordion style. Until you run out of burlap to fold. This is where I used the clothes pins, to hold the wings down while you glue the center.
Wrap fabric scrap tightly and glue the end down.
Follow the same steps using lightweight corduroy with twine for the centers (look familiar? I made similar bows for the Wooden Stocking Holders)
