Fools aren’t very common in America (at least the dessert type) but they are in England. Or at least that’s what the internet would have me believe. They are often made with tart goose berries (another thing we don’t have a lot of) and require a lot of sugar to make them sweet. I decided to revamp the dessert with something I have a TON of, black raspberries. It isn’t really sweet made with this recipe but you can always add more sugar of that’s your thing.

I’ve always loved kissing balls but I’ve never had a good place to hang one so I never bothered to make one. This year I was looking though the spring clearance flowers at Joann’s (they were all marked down to $1.29, how could I not look?) and I found three bunches of red ranunculus looking flowers. I also picked up a few other things to make up this happy ball of flowers.
