Two years ago I was surviving enjoying my senior year of college.
Unfortunately, I was missing my field credit.
Without it I couldn’t graduate.

Fortunately that meant I got to go here:
For 11 days in March 2010, that was my home. Along with (15?) other students I went to the tiny island of Dominica. We stayed at a research station. Among other science-y things, we went snorkeling, saw wild parrots and ate lots of mangoes.
FYI if you EVER go to Dominica you need to go to the Titu River Gorge, especially if you can go with a small group. I don’t have any pictures (no water proof camera) but it was, hands down, the most gorgeous place I’ve ever been. You swim though a narrowish gorge, usually about 10-15 ft wide, and its dark and cool, then when you look up you see the rainforest way above you. It’s not very long but there is a small waterfall you can climb and jump off.

It sounds gorgeous.
