Berry-pick Flowers

affiliate
Somehow I have about a million of these:
I’m pretty sure I have a breeding population somewhere. I have white, silver, red and burgundy. In three sizes. The big ones, the little ones and the long sprays. I’m best with the long sprays, they work really well in garlands and wreaths. The big bobble ones, not so much. But I keep buying (or atleast finding) them. Finally I figured out something to with them!
Basically it’s a six petal flower. You need:
  • Berries
  • Wire Cutters (or scissors you don’t really care about)
  • Hot Glue
Using the wire cutters, cut the berries off. Leave as little ‘stem’ as possible. Inspect the bobbles, sometimes they have odd bumps that you don’t want on your flowers. Now it’s time to start gluing!
Glue two together, then make a triangle. Keep gluing around the center until you get the the last one. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, just add more glue and squish. You could add one to the center of a bow:

Or use them to add some pearly glamour to a winter scene

Maybe prop one up against your magazine tree??

  4. Wow! Those are so pretty. I wish picks like that would breed in my house. All I seem to find is enormous smelly boy socks and dog hair… no fair 🙂

Love all the ways you used the pearls. Very pretty.

Thanks for commenting on my tag. I love Tim but his stuff is so pricey and his tags take forever. I need to bring it down to a normal level before I’ll even make an attempt. It was nice to hear that you thought I got it in the ballpark.

  5. Hey! You commented on my Tulle and Spool garland too… how nice is that!

Thank you. I read every comment about 50 times too. They make my day.

And yeah, crazy haphazardness pretty much describes it, but it works 🙂

  6. Thanks for linking up! Love it! ~Jen
